Membership Committee
What the Membership Committee does: The primary responsibility of the Membership Committee is to screen, interview and familiarize any person or persons desirous of purchasing a home in the park. In order to start the process, the potential buyer(s) will receive a Pre-Admission Policy indicating the need for them to present to a designated member of this committee the following:
(1)
A valid copy of the Purchase & Sales Agreement,
(2) A Buyer’s Bank Commitment Letter
(3) Proof of Income
In addition, the potential buyer is also required to sign two (2) release forms so that Credit Checks and Criminal Background Checks may be initiated as well as provide checks to cover the cost of the Credit and Criminal Background checks.
Once this information is received and approved, the buyer will receive a packet of additional information about the park, its Rules & Regulations, By-Laws, etc, and an interview with this committee will be scheduled as promptly as possible. When the interview is completed, the committee’s recommendation will be forwarded to the board of Directors for their vote and approval and the Buyer will be notified very quickly thereafter.
