Camp Sargent Road Co-op
Social Committee
What the Social Committee does: The social committee plans and carries out various events and activities for the co-op members, their families and guests – dinners, yard sales, holiday open house, annual brunch and the annual cookout – to mention a few. The committee is also responsible for the maintenance of the interior of the Clubhouse which includes, but not limited to, the purchasing of supplies and cleanliness of the area. The Clubhouse is, for a minimal fee, available to members of the park for private gatherings and the committee accepts advance reservations for such use. Some co-op activities are free and for others, such as dinners, there is a charge to cover costs. The purpose of this committee is to provide a friendly atmosphere in which park members may come together for an enjoyable time while, as well as attempting to raise needed funds for the Clubhouse upkeep and improvements. Also with the assistance of one or more of the Social Committee members, the Clubhouse is available FREE OF CHARGE to any member wishing to hold a Bereavement Gathering for their family and friends.
