the El Dorado subdivision by a Good Samaritan, who then took the injured feline
to the Animal Defense League for treatment. That person believes the
cat was tossed from a car.
The Animal Defense League team is in the process of stabilizing Simon, who is now on high doses of antibiotics. A spokesperson for the Animal Defense League said Simon's leg will have to be amputated.
"He should do absolutely fine and be available for adoption in a month or so," explained Ron Aaron, Executive Director of the Animal Defense League.
