Dead dog found on property

Pownal, VT

A dead dog was found at Harris’ French Hill Rd. home.

The dog was found dead, tied up outside and had been there for awhile without food, water or shelter.

The Arlington Animal Hospital performed a necropsy and found no injuries or illness that would account for the dog’s death.

Harris was issued a citation to appear at the Bennington District Court in August, 2006.
