Failure to provide sustenance to his flock of sheep

Allan Ritchie is charged with failure to provide adequate sustenance to his flock of sheep, which is a misdemeanor charge.

Police found one ewe dead and several others sick. Judge Dennis LaBombard told Ritchie that he must shelter and feed the animals, else the sheep will be seized.

Ritchie’s sheep farm is about 150 miles north of Albany New York.
