Shot a cat with a BB gun

Bryan R. Dexter, age 24, of 4 Linden St. Derry, NH was arrested on May 24, 2002 and charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty.

Dexter was reported to police after being seen standing on the back porch of a Winter Street building shooting a cat with a BB gun. The cat was taken to a veterinarian where x-rays showed two BBs in the cat’s body.

Dexter was released on $500 personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Dover District Court on June 14^th.
