Teen shoot four cows – one nursing calf perishes |

Christopher Hands, age 16, (DOB 1/27/90) has been charged by the Martin County
Sheriff’s Office with shooting and killing four cows on an Indiantown ranch.
As a result of the producing cows’ deaths, at least one nursing calf died.
Since all the other cows also had nursing calf's they too are presumed dead.
Hands and three other teens trespassed onto the Box Ranch property armed with rifles and were shooting at bottles and beer cans.
Hands has been charged with four counts of animal cruelty, one count of animal enterprise disruption and two counts of armed trespass.

Maxx Zurick, age 17 (DOB 6/6/89) and
Gregory Johns, age 16, (DOB 5/16/90) of Stuart were charged with armed trespass.
On June 9, Brewer, Zurich & Johns returned to the property and shot at targets. On June 10th, they again trespassed onto the property to go mudding.
