In a fit of anger Williams, killed his wife's chihuahua. Williams has a black belt in karate and his father is a retired veterinarian, but that didn't stop him from kicking the dog and fracturing her liver. The dog bled to death. The case was originally filed as a felony animal cruelty case but was plea bargained down to a misdemeanor.
When his wife left him, she attempted to take with her his 2 dogs and 1 cat but was not allowed to. Her lawyer asked the prosecutor why Williams was allowed to keep his pet and his response was that he did not realize that Williams owned pets, thought they were all hers and that he thought she had removed them all. Since the case (# 04-1-08845-0) was then closed he was allowed to keep the 2 dogs and 1 cat.
Williams ex then went to civil court to sue over malicious injury to a pet, but lost the case. Judge Douglas McBroom stated" Although William's actions were despicable, the dog was marital property and as such Williams could dispose of them anyway he saw fit".
According to court records, Williams is no stranger to the courts. There are 6 cases listed:
