February, 2009 |
The owners of four horses found neglected in Anchor Point have been charged with cruelty to animals.
Alaska State Troopers were investigating a report of abused animals when they found the horses.
Troopers said two of the animals were "in a state of starvation." The other two horses were in poor condition at the home off Resch Road.
Troopers said the owners - 25-year-old Katy Campbell and 30-year-old Wesley Campbell, both of Happy Valley - were charged with two counts of animal cruelty.
