Dead cats found in truck and pool

A Lawrence woman found three cat carcasses in her pickup truck and pool on the 1500 block of Barker early Tuesday, July 25^th.  She has no idea who dumped the three dead cats on her property, or why. She was afraid to speak on camera to KCTV5 News, but her neighbor, Chris Hotvedt, expressed her concern that whoever did this could become more violent.

The Lawrence Police Department does not yet have any information as to whom the cats belonged to or how they were killed.
