Emaciated Pit bulls found by the side of the road |

2 female and 1 male emaciated pit bulls about 9-12 weeks old were found by Animal Control Officer Callum Mattingly. They are currently being fed 6 small meals a day to help them recover. The dogs are frightened but ran to the volunteer who took the pictures of them when she opened the kennel door. The dogs have scars that are consistent with being used as bait dogs for fighting dogs.
On 8/16/06 a kind rescuer saved them from being euthanized and brought them to a vet to begin their journey back to health.
