Harrison Animal Shelter)  The Conway man surrendered 4 horses which are being kept on his property in Quitman.  The horses were emaciated; one was so bad it took 2 people to get it to it's feet.  Because the rescuer's were concerned the owner would move the horses they made a deal with him not to prosecute as long as he turned over the horses.

12 additional horses were found in fair condition.  The owner agreed to get a coggins test on the additional horses, which is required by law.  The additional 12 horses will be watched carefully.
