A 26-year-old woman was warned July 2 after she reportedly left a dog in a locked car on an 85-degree day outside Sandburg Hall Circle at UVM. The dog was discovered when it beeped the horn with its nose. It was panting and had urinated on the seat. The woman returned to the car telling officers she had only been gone 15 or 20 minutes and had been in a hurry to see her husband.
