A 10-year-old boy and three 11-year-old boys, of Caledonia and Racine, were arrested Jan. 9 on allegations of cruelty to animals after they injured a peacock at Olympia Brown School , 5915 Erie St. Witnesses reported seeing the boys run after the bird, kick it and throw a stick at it. The bird, which belonged to the school ’s Diagnostics Center, suffered an injury to a leg and wing and all its tail feathers had been pulled out. The boys denied injuring the bird.
