Opinion Forum -- DPDorn DVM Case:
From Marge: I wouldn't take any of my pets to a veterinarian who went before a review board - Even if the case was dismissed. To get to a review board had to have some merit for a hearing regardless of the outcome.
From Debby: Dorns wife is an elected official
of Mt. Lebanon and the Magistrates office (which dismissed the case) is in Mt.
Lebanon. - Rajah and family got screwed royally! It wasn't the vaccine
that ultimately caused Rajah's death - it was the fact that Rajah was vaccinated
while she was sick, blood in her urine...
From nysniper: hey man this veterinarian got away with it because of cronies - his wife was on an advisory board, no other veterinarian would testify against him even the ones who treated Rajah after Dorn did his damage because they don't have the guts to stand up - the guy got his case dismissed because he had the deck stacked - even right down to a weakness in the PA laws - insufficient evidence of a violation of the applicable licensing law. Heaven help pets in Pittsburgh!. Can you say coverup in Pittsburgh!
From RM: The lawyer who was supposed to be representing Rajahs best interest was screwing them as well. Too busy, case overload, took to long to file information, excuses, EXCUSES, EXCUSes...and then had the nerve to charge the family for services - should be disbar'd under negligence along with the veterinarian.
From ggrpt: Step up to the plate and admit you both were wrong - lawyer and vet. But no you won't because you got away with it. Well maybe if enough people know about you - you will be found guilty in the court of public opinion. Pets in Pittsburgh beware!!!
